Quote: Teessidewire "Always enjoy my annual visit to Cas. Couple of beers in the pub opposite the Club Shop then straight into the ground. Good old fashioned RL stadium where you are almost on the pitch watching the game.'"
The RFL should read comments like this and take it on board instead of forcing clubs, during the deepest recession the country has seen in a lot of years, into building shiny new grounds that don't have the same atmosphere as the old ones. Cas could then spend some of the money we get from having to sell our stars such as Rangi and Westeman on a decent squad that can compete and not having to bank the proceeds to pay for a souless stadium. Don't get me wrong I know to be able to eventually compete we need a better stadium and the corporate business it attracts but maybe it could wait until the economy recovers and the gates then will eventually increase. Or maybe I am being the usual cas sceptic and think that it is just because the RFL want rid of cas so the Bulls and London can survive at all costs!!!!
