Quote: tigerman1+1 "merger smerger each club knows that it will be the death of both's identity so its a no brainer, you could merge with Dewsbury Celtic but id fear you'd loose most of your players, by the way Dewsbury Celtic is an amature team in west Yorkshire, thats up in the North of England
WOW! You know your geography!
Quote: marshman "They did at half nine though didn't they. They'll be cutting back so they can show a 0-0 bore draw and some handbags from footie.
Sure it was 0-2 ?
As for Celtic well done you're improving and you will have your first win soon
ive played football all my life but it really starting to get to me!!! After watching what happened to westy last week then hes back into training the next day (i know he got sent home but its the fact he was willing to turn up) if that happened to a footballer they would be out for about 6 weeks and it would be all over every paper for the next month!!!
we really do follow the best sport in the world!!!
Rhyl? That's nowt... I had a crap day in Abersoch once. And I once broke my leg in Treaddur Bay (sp?) and had to go to Bangor hospital..
On the other hand, I've just got back from Bridgend with nothing but admiration for the locals I met. What a pleasant surprise to feel genuinely welcomed from the fans at the ground to the bloke in the petrol station afterwards. Great stuff!
Quote: marshman "Yeah it was sky sports news and if you have it they'll be on again around half ten. Sunday nights at half nine and then half ten if you forget.
Sione's pass was crazy, but at least this time it got to the right man!
My impression at the time was that he had sneaked a look at what was on down his right side then executed perfectly the only possible pass. As said earlier if a Saints player had done that everyone would be in raptures. Still not a great performance from Sione but a glimpse of his potential and in the second half he did start to do what was needed...graft.
