Really pleased for him - seems a really genuine bloke who for first few years helped to bring some real success to Fax. I think everyone, including Marshall himself , accepts that he probably stayed to long, and towards the end probably remained too loyal to players who in the past had been great players for the club. Going to be a massive ask to move forward a club that consistently overperformed under Watson - I'm sure though most Fax fans wish him all the best.

Totally agree with that assessment . There is little doubt the money Marshall earned fax through top 4 finishes saved faxs bacon . He is going to have to over achieve at Salford though but I would back him to do it. And with better support around him he could well cement Salford near the top . That's the bit missing at fax
