Cant help but think that with the rumour being out to all clubs delivery of the signature will have become harder to achieve.but quite willing to be proved wrong . Surely any championship club would want him. Just seems a backward step in his playing profile

I believe the rumour got leaked after it were already a done deal. Whether the club will be happy about the local journalist leaking the story is another question. |

You honestly think that other clubs wouldn't have known he was available? I always find it amusing that folk believe other clubs will discover they could possibly sign a player through a fans forum or a snippet in a newspaper rather than through the official lists of players coming off contract or agents. |

Things have fallen nicely for Halifax here, realistically he wasn't going to get an offer from Fev with us already having Thomas Minns, local favourite Josh Hardcastle, and Kris Welham, who will be joining from Salford. Doubt he would have wanted another year in Lancashire and given where he's from Fax or Bradford were his likeliest destinations.
He's not a difference maker but he's an upgrade on Tyrer for sure, very solid in attack and defence and has been a fan favourite wherever he has gone. Just the numbers game would have made him surplus to requirements at Fev. |
