After the disappointments of losing our last 2 games all be it by just 2 points in each case what a change in performance. We looked dominant most of the time and tackled York out of the game limiting them to just 1 score in the last 10 minutes. We created a lot more space in the halves and with Shaun Robinson and James Saltonstall bringing the ball out to help the forwards the platform was laid. James took the sponsors MOM and also 2nd place and 2 points in the Shay Lounge Player of the Season with Shaun getting the vote and the 3 points with 3rd and 1 point to Brandon Moore who must have been in contention for the Hitman award with the final vote going to Keegan Hirst.
We have got 5th spot in the league table but next Sunday sees one of our sternest tests yet away at Leigh. The supporters coach leaves the Shay at 1.00pm. Adults £12 with juniors £6. Just 1 or 2 places left.
With the first draw in Club 1873 fast approaching after the game against London on Sunday 22nd March we have 131 in so far which is just a few short of last years figure of 138. There will be time before the match or half time to get into the draw or just E mail or text me to reserve your number.
Thank you everybody for your continued support.
The half time draw winning number against York was 5811 for £183.
