After seeing us against Swinton last week and watching Dewsbury against Toronto i would have to say The Rams are favourites for this fixture. A massive improvement is needed this weekend, what we have been seeing so far this season is very poor to say the least. Our forwards need to take the lead that Grixy provided and give our half backs time and space to play. Exactly Hudds, without that big push from Grixy in his second spell we would have had nowt and he's one of the old men of the squad relatively speaking.
We could all see what an effect it had when he drove the ball in with some real intent with first, second and even third effort.
Surely some of the others can follow his lead, getting that punch back and Fax further down the field against a retreating defense and QLT coming into the line will at least give us some more energy / threat with the ball in the right part of the field.

On the player front can't see many changes, RM says Jones is out of consideration for 4 or 5 weeks with a knee injury but Butler could be back.
Can't see him leaving either Tyrer or Salty out so if Chester is fit and in the squad it will be interesting where he plays him.

Reserves are at Fev tonight, see if he has a run out.

Pete , I understand your stance on DRs but sometimes it does help, we at Leigh have a very thin squad,and it’s a case of needs must the same applies at Fev, for me once Richardson, Douglas , and Ashworth and Co put Leigh shirts on then they are Leigh players.

I’ve heard the They don’t try, point but for me the Saints lads have done everything they can,if it means getting a chance of a Top 5 spot ,then I’m prepared to DR a couple of Eskimos if it helps.If RM thinks it would benefit Fax , then go with the flow.
