It really pleases me no end to see a RL club revert back to its more tradition name rather than the Sky/Murdoch driven disneyfication of club names. I just wish more RL clubs would follow suit!

Maybe a good idea at the time. 20 years on, the sport is still predominantly played within the M62 motorway. Union, even though it is awful to watch, are light years ahead of RL now

The pathetic BS name brought nowt but disdain on our great club. Thank heaven it's gone!

I remember going to a premiership double header at OT when Larrrrrrndon played Worky and Wigan played Cas, 94 I think, but can’t remember if they were Crusaders or Broncos, Larrrrrrndon that is.

After the games and on going up the slip road back onto the motorway we were following a Worky supporters coach when a guy and his girlfriend came flying past in a Porsche but had to pull in sharp as he would’t have made it past the coach.

The lads at the back of the coach saw it and took great delight in removing their trousers and firmly placed several rather large buttock cheeks on the rear window intoducing the male anatomy to the cars occupants Worky style.

I do believe that they are currently on a restraining order at the Shay for a further 675 years due to the woe they put us all through. Many Fax fans were at the time already struggling with having to leave Thrum Hall and then having to carry on dealing with this BS ( I mean Bull Sh!t in this instance) rather than the truly abysmal name Blue Sox. The former Fat Controller was the imbecile who was behind this gross incompetence and left us in a complete state of disarray and penury from which we have nevertheless fully recovered.

Scaring young children is usually left to mutants from Widnes but Billy & Bluey took this on well, they are one of those things we all wish to forget.

Now then Norman. Some may take you're reply with a pinch of salt but everything in it is factually correct! Lol! Nigel Wood = one of the worst things RL has ever had to endure.
