James Saltonstall; Elliot Morris;Brandon Douglas; Will Maher;Ed Barber; Shane Grady;James Woodburn-Hall. All will add value when they return.
Plus Adam Tangata in April.
Let's not write them off before they have even kicked or passed a ball in anger!
Looking further ahead, my starting team for Fev League game would be:
Sharpe
Saltonstall
Tyrer
Woodburn-Hall
Chester
Murrell
Johnstone
E. Morris
Kaye
Fairbank
Grady
Barber
Grix
Moore
Douglas
Maher
Brooke(trialist halfback)

| Hope you're right LTD and they'll have my full support as always. The squad IMO looks desperately short of quality though and trialling amateur and Keighley cast offs tells me where we are as a club at moment.

I just posted about it on the other thread but Fairbank and Morris are not props in a million years but it shows how desperately we need some punch up front and to not try and replace Mitch with similar quality is criminal.
Hard to change too much at the minute though but I would have Barber and Heaton together on one side and let JWH and Tyrer battle for the other centre spot. I would try and have Moore play for 80 minutes to give us more options on the bench. A back row including Grix, Fairbank, Grady, Tangata, and Morris rotated is as strong as any team in this league in that position to water it down and try and make a couple of them props because of poor recruitment would be a shame.

| Yes I have just read your other post GFB and to be fair I had forgotten about Ben Heaton. The props I chose were based on what we currently have-which I agree is not what we would want but is what we have. The injury to new signing Harry Kidd has altered the dynamics of selection in that position unfortunately.(Bad luck etc)
Looks like we now know exaclty where we are now re youth and depth of squad after the 62 nil shillacking at Wakey today.
It's going to be a challenging season methinks and one we haven't had for a while
Batten down the hatches and nick the points where we can when we can etc. Unless one of us on here wins the lottery!!!
