Can't disagree with any of that. Getting people back on the bus is the interesting one , coinciding with the changes in the board which I feel is helping the mending process. The most important point MM makes however is that he is a custodian of the club and the club is not his. That to me is where over the past few years the plot was totally lost. It's a lesson to keep remembering.

For me one of the best points is working with the council, seemingly some one somewhere has got both sides to the table.
Junior games before the main game, brining mums dads sisters friends et al to see junior on the park, even if they pay a reduced ticket price to stay on and watch the 'big boys' play has got to be a positive, plus all the other things potentially happening, makes me feel a little homesick for the first time in 9 years.

Deffo should be looking at working with Town as well once their current regime leaves. Obviously its impossible with them in charge as they look down their noses on the Rugby club but once they are gone its important the 2 clubs work together.

Totally agree that it would be a huge step forward and make commercial/business sense for the two clubs to work closer together. |

Its little wonder FC Hx didn't want to engage with certain individuals who put the above comments , but with changes on our side the Council is the first step and FC will hopefully follow in the future. I understand the ice has cracked somewhat dramatically so that the more beer we all drink at the Shay in the future the club gets some benefit? I believe the club tried to get such an arrangement years ago but if it's finally arrived well done to whoever brokered it.
