Good news on the season tickets and commercial front . Glad that Adams injury is not his knee again. To me he should be back in action a lot sooner than April , get some insulation tape on it and it will be sorted!
Interesting on the shop front as to exactly where that is. It might be better just to start completely fresh somewhere with footfall rather than follow the previous failure. Well done for getting something sorted in the short timeframe in adversity.

Football have a section in Harveys now doing a roaring trade by all accounts.No reason why rugby can't do same with our history there.Harveys have a shop in piece hall too which will be rammed this month....

Well that location would definitely do the trick. Connect the club to the Town and get the profit direct to the club. Didn't know about Harvey's but it's all about not standing still. You snooze you loose.

At what cost?

It must be remembered that the two clubs have pretty small customer bases. A club shop will be visited by either a) people who support the club or b) people who are buying something for someone who supports the club. This then begs the question of the value of having a shop in a prominent location. Will passing trade be interested in buying club merchandise? Yes, there may be the odd sale to someone who wants something with 'Halifax' on it but not enough to justify the rents that would come with a shop in a central location.

The Pop up shop is a great idea and in a great position nice one.

Apparently shop leased under very favourable terms too.

Yes time to quickly move on and get the money straight into the clubs coffers. It provides an apt short term solution to everything. Well done to any club volunteer staffing it, give them a tot of brandy as you pass by next week!
