A great effort by Fax this afternoon, the boys did themselves proud on sky, a little more luck and it would have been closer result.
Tony Smith on sky did not give Fax much credit for giving them a hard game, " we were flat and the ref is a Championship quality, made it hard for us" he claimed. I thought Robert Hicks was a S/ L ref and had a decent game. Chester Butler had a great game , unfortunate for W/ H going off in the first 15 mins leaving Fax with 16 for the rest of the game.
Well done Fax did yourselves proud . Hoping the squad can keep together and have a real go next season.

I thought we did well, some silly mistakes and thought that Hicks was his usual rubbish, but he was rubbish for both sides so at least consistent. What was possibly Tyrers worst conversion attempt of the season stopped us from taking a half-time lead. We showed what we can do when today and lost out on the penalty count. 4 games left I reckon three of those are winnable if not all four.

Watched your game today, rooted for a Fax win. thought you held wire back the first 65 mins. Played well first half.

If he's the first winger on the team sheet then I can see why they finished where they did. We had a few out today and then lost Woody but it would be nice to see the way we are playing reflected in some points.

I did think the London - Fev draw was a bad thing when it happened but actually it could play in our favour if we can get wins against them both and possibly sneak one against Catalans. We deserve a decent bounce of the ball in our next games and if we get it then who knows where we could finish.

Aye, must be hard on him to have to drop to our level and bring a ref of the same standard, try being a part time team on our funding.

Better beware Mr Smith because it might actually be your level the way things stand.

Anyway, the lads put in a top effort, again outstanding defence and were not overawed by the occasion.

I found out recently that some of my ancestors were from Warrington, I got right back to the Norman period.



Not 1066, just one of my granddads was from their and was called Norman.

Fantastic effort from the lads on Saturday I was proud of them and the few of us who made it over we sang our hearts out.
Lets hope that we play like this against Catalans and Fev and get at least one win not sure about Leigh and London away but play like that and you never know we might win more!
