Well done from a Kr fan we looked like we couldn't be bothered we wanted Halifax in the 8s you truly deserve it, could be different result next time I hope when the lads who came back get match fit and we have lunt and carney back and mose motor on field again well done

Fantastic result. Well done to all . Everything from the brilliant tactical kicking to the defence to the attack was spot on . To win the final four games inc at Fev and Toulouse and home to the league winners was a phenomenal effort.

Can't put into words what that means for the cub and all involved.
The effort and commitment these lads have put in for Halifax RL and themselves when things looked to be slipping away has been massive.
The old saying about being "Fit to where the shirt".
Well these lads should keep one of theirs, they've earned it.

I was cheering for Fax all afternoon,really chuffed to see you win, fully deserved, I did enjoy myself , I always do at the Shay.I was wrong about your final placing and glad to be wrong, congrats on 3rd spot , I believe it's now down at the LSV , hope to see you all there.

Ian, a lot of the Rovers players were blowing just as much as the Fax players (who all gave 100% today) at the end of the game. They didn't seem interested because every time they made a move forward there was a blue and white wall in front of them.
The HKR fans are saying how poorly they played today as well, but this wasn't a day for two teams grinding out the end of the season. Fax needed to win, and HKR needed to rebuild confidence going into the 8's. Fax took their chances in the first half, and totally dominated HKR in the second. HKR last play choices were comical at times in the second half because they just didn't know what to do. For instance, they must have kicked high bombs to Will Sharp half a dozen times in the second half with no chasers - reasonable tactics if 18 points to the good, but not when you're 18 points adrift!
