Another tough test as Rochdale are a good side.
Result, anything could happen and it will be interesting to see if Fax can kick on from last week.
We looked more like it against Sheffield but they were poor and had 12 men for 20 minutes of the game so still a bit of room for wondering where we are.

Im looking forward to this game on Sunday. The Hornets only just lost to Hull KR last week. They are a very good team. If we play as good or better than last week I think we will win by 4 or 6 points. If we don't they will by 12.Our forwards need to dominate from the off so AOB can have quick ball and work his skills. Hope the weather is dry(ish). Good luck to Siddal tomorrow.

Lets face it, as well as Rochdale have started the season they have a team that will do well to finish mid table in this league. That's no disrespect to Rochdale but if we are a team that is chasing that last middle 8 spot then you have to go to places like Rochdale and grind out a win. I think we are capable of doing that and the fact we had an easy game last week and Rochdale had a really tough one will play its part as well in our favour.

If our best hooker is available then we should play him. Sadly, we don't really have a "best" half-back at the moment, hence why AOB shines so brightly.

Not sure what is going on with Gaz Moore but to be fair last year we were all moaning about RM's tinkerman tactics and not deciding who his half backs were until it was too late. Looks to me like he is trying to bring some continuity into the side and I for one support that.
As regards Rochdale this one has I have absolutely no idea how it's going to go. They have gone well so far and have several of Fax's team in their squad from last year who no doubt will be out to prove a point. They are also used to winning so confidence will be up there. Looking forward to a proper game of rugby.
