| Both teams were awful, and I pity the fools that paid £20 to watch that.
Add to that an unprofessional ref.
Well another 6 weeks of this tosh, surely the club have to reduce prices if they are going to play like it's the early rounds of the challenge cup.
Add to that, them lame brain stewards that wouldn't allow fans out early.
Sort it out Mike Murray

| Well I am glad we gave the coach an extra two years, as it really inspired the team!!
Poor, poor rugby from Fax
Poor rugby from Eagles
Poor performance from officials.
At least it didn't rain

| Very disappointing
It all started in the warm up when we appear not to be able to catch a ball
We have gone backwards and need to have a clear out with some of our players as they are simply not good enough at our level or not putting the effort in
The whole club seams unprofessional, no big score board, no half time entertainment, fan numbers dropping, lack of any atmosphere, I suppose the only positive was the microphone was working this week which makes a change
If I was not a season ticket holder I would have not gone today

| Typical "Death of a Season Game".
I don't think we defended more than a couple of sets without them scoring, especially in the first half and it's largely down to zero line speed again.
One or two steps forward and then stop and wait, they have so much space to run the lines it's untrue.
Not one moment to get anyone out of their seats apart from have a shout at the ref, we didn't lose because of him by any means but the game deserves better, if he officiates like that in a really important game there won't be 26 players on the pitch when the final whistle blows.
I wish the season was over as it's hard to be positive with games like this.
The only tick in the plus box in an attempt to come up with something.
I thought Chester Butler looked good enough when he was on, shame he just couldn't take the ball in for a score in the second half.

| I couldn't make it today due to family illness, but, I half expected the showing that is sounds like was put on.
I can imagine people's frustrations, you pay your money, you want to be entertained, you want to see us win every game, and I would say, win this minor comp.
After switching off my radio and phone, I then moped around thinking not again, what has gone wrong. Then I came to my senses and remembered the party line, we're not going to achieve anything this year unless we blood some younger players, this season is almost about next year, this year is also about seeing who is still able. Richard gave last years lads a chance to kick on, sadly a few of them had peaked, we now use this season to see who is up for the battle, this game is tiny margins, if 3-4 moved on, and we find some promise in the younger players, and can can add some QUALITY, we'll be ready to do battle again next year, and we might be all the better for it.
Bradford and Sheffield are clubs on their knees, but they do still have some strike players and quality in positions that can expose where we do not. We can still win this competition, Richard will find out who is playing for the badge now, there will be plenty of positives, even if it's making his job easier deciding the areas where we need to strengthen. I don't for one minute envisage he doesn't have the ambition or quality to make us stronger and make this work.
Having said that 4 loses on the bounce is poor, come on lads, sort it out, your making a good coach and club look ordinary, and peeing off the fans, it can't be a nice post match drink in the bar either, you know what to do.

Well I have read all your posts and can fully understand your frustrations,it's hard and won't get much better next week either, but there is a light at the end of the Tunnel,I've been told you have signed 2 qualit players for next season, but they cannot be announced till the season is over.RL needs teams like Fax to be strong, remember you can't rewire a house with a knife and fork, and RM needs the tools to do the job.
I really do think he is a decent Coach, and next season will take you to a decent position in the League, your pack isn't that bad,I just don't rate GMOORE, and think Murrell has his best days behind him, it's unfortunate what happened to Tyrer, but when things go right just look at the Bash against Fev.
Time will tell, cmon Bentleyman rally the troops.

| Im not usually lost for words and I understand there will always be wins and losses but on todays performance by both teams I have seen better defence at U11's level. The club has lost all momentum it gained last season and it is beginning to be a struggle to bother to turn up.

Ian it might be good news that you have heard Fax are going to sign 2 quality players for next year, or even a few more but that has little bearing on what we saw today, those who are here now need to have a look at themselves and give us something to support.
It's concerning how a team who only a couple of weeks ago had it in their own hands to finish the season on a high can ship in 171 points, with 113 of them at home in a total of 4 games.
Next week will be no better with Murrell not finishing the game and Gaz Moore + Ben Kaye taking heavy knocks.

Its only another kickabout next week. "Every minute matters!" you see.
The absurdity of it all is that Bradford want £27 to watch another glorified touch and pass.
I never thought I'd say this, but I might enquire if I can use my two Kids Fax Junior season tickets at Fartown next Sunday and make it a nice day out at the John Smiths Stadium Complex. Especially if the weather is poor.
Seating Tickets Bra v Hal 1 Adult, 2 Young Teens = £61
Seating Tickets Hud v Fev 1 Adult, 2 Young Teens = £31 (£21 if they'll accept the kids season tickets)
leaving me £30 (or £40 ) for a good meal, cinema, bowling in a pleasant complex.

Obviously I wasn't at the Shay today so I can't comment on the Fax performance,I was at a few this season though and the Fax team that beat Fev at Blackpool was unreconisable to the Fax team that lost to Fev a couple of weeks ago,the spirit ,confidence, and cameraderie seems to have vanished.
I know it is hard to watch being a Fax fan,I don't think RM is your problem ,he isn't missing the tackles, and not making the breaks, and if as you say key men took knocks and could be missing next week,it won't get easier,I said at the beginning of the season I didn't think you has recruited enough quality players, and predicted a 7th spot finish, I wasn't far out, there is a light at the end of the Tunnel, keep the faith, I know it's easy for me to say,but guys like you and the Fax faithful are the Club's lifeblood.

| Well before game in East Stand for pre-match build up we got told "we can lose 5/7 of these games and still make semi finals" what kind of mentality is that to have? Do you think they've done that kind of maths at Bradford?? I doubt it...1200 there , scoreboards gone , flat and abject on the pitch - bet those watching for the Bulls yesterday weren't quaking in their boots at the thought of playing us next week!!
