That is the salary cap maximum. If your club has an income of less than £3.7m you can only spend 50% of it. So by example

Income £5m cap £5m X 50% = £2.5m so limit is £1.85m

Income £2m cap £2m X 50% = £1m so cap is £1m


Will have no impact on Fax as our income well below £3.7m, could be big win for Leigh and Toulouse.

As the championship strengthens, I can see the member clubs joining SL Europe, marketed as Super League 2/championship with Sky coverage
