How did we go?

Lost 16-12 I think, fax were leading 6 nil at half time

we lost with the very last play of the game, the boys should hold there heads high after this very good display

Sounds like a good effort we have some good young talent at the club and having a Reserves team means players not in the first team squad can get a run out, shame the other SL clubs do not see the benefit and would rather chuck their money at their first team bringing over average Aussie players rather than develop their own, no wonder we are still miles behind the NRL!

Fax Reserves were a credit to your club last night. Very well drilled, & with excellent teamwork.

They were very unlucky to lose, to a brilliant boomerang kick from Declan Patton in the dying seconds. He had obviously tipped off the Wire fullback Jack Johnson of his intentions, & disguised the kick so well that no other player (From either team was in 15 yards of the ball, when Johnson caught it.)

Both Patton & Johnson had Superleague games last season, Gene Ormsby & Ben Evans also played for Wire Reserves, last night, as well as Sam Wilde who also played several 1st team game, last year.

Fax had the game stolen from them at the end, against an undefeated Wire team that had previously beaten both Wigan & Hull Reserves, relatively easily.

How did Grixy go ?? Anyone ??

He didn`t play.

I am not sure if he was involved in the coaching set-up, but I didn`t see him on the field. He could have been sat in the stand?
