| What did folk think of it. I know it's the first time we have used it but I thought it was very good. Showing the squad for the day with pictures was good especially after trys were scored. I think this will develop into a big part of the match day experience.
May I suggest something for our players sponsors. Could the club show the name/logos of the sponsor along side the pictures of the players. It will give the sponsor more exposure when the squad is shown or their player scores a try.
Also would the screen be able to show the Fax interchanges when they happen. I'm not a technical man and have no idea if this would be able to be done.
Once again well done to the club, I for one think this is great move forward

| I thought it was a big success despite not being able to read some of the smallest text displayed (I think they were text messages). From where we were sitting, on the halfway line right at the back of the East Stand, we could read the score and players names easily but the rest of it was tricky. A fellow fan sitting next to me was struggling worse than me with some of the smaller text, so I would hope that any sponsors' names would be displayed on a separate page/slide if it would cause existing font sizes to reduce.
Other than the temporary glitch after one of the tries it all ran well and, with a busy day for the scorekeepers as well as rain to deal with, it certainly had a good test of its capabilities.
Big thumbs up for the return of the countdown clock as well.

| Sorry to be negative, but...
• Nice to see the teams before the game, but Whitehaven were “from” rather than "today's team"
• The Fax line-up kept on getting interrupted by twitter adverts and reverting to Whitehaven players
• Once the game started, it reverted to functionality pretty much to the scoreboard that it replaced just in front of it (easier to see, but it wasn’t really a problem seeing the old one). Apart from showing “Try” (“Goal” not in sight!), the score was pretty much it. Even the team colours were a bit “off”!
• No clock. There was the one we know about in the Skircoat stand, but why not on screen?
• No try scorers or kickers on screen.
• No interchanges shown on screen.
• No “promised” try replays.
• Adverts showed some initiative to make some money by the club, but the general consensus on the terraces was that this was the ONLY reason for the screen.

| Needed a border around the main detail as it looked too much like a Powerpoint presentation.

Can't see why we'd pay 2 grand, all being well it should become self sufficient.

| Please excuse me if I 'm wrong, great to read about an electronic device in use, however was Calderdale Council and the Rugby League supposed to be providing one for the World Cup game ?
If so why are 'fax having to shell out when the other two should have made good on their promise.

You are correct, no excuse needed, however, remember we are talking about the RFL and Calderdale Council.
