So for the last 3 years I have listened to most of the Halifax games, getting up at 6am and normally cursing radio Leeds for not having more of the game on. I wish the club could do an Internet comentery on the games for the likes of me who live to far away to get to games ( Canada). Anyway even as far away as I am I am getting excited. I find myself trying to explain why it's a big thing to Canadians. I will be up at 05:30 probably glued to the match tweets as it will be to early for radio Leeds. I am glad of the new system. I just wanted to share this excitement with people that I hope under stand. UTFAX

Good on you Snowy! Just explain to the Canadians that it is like their beloved American football but with the massively excessive padding.

RM has instilled a sense of pride and belief in the shirt and without singling players out, lads like Ben Kaye typify this with the huge grin he has on his face after each game, heartwarming stuff. Then you have Richard Moore tearing around after half backs terrorizing them after 70 mins such is the intensity. Heaton is massive for us now, Johnno a truly creative, zippy live wire and I haven't even touched on the positives elsewhere. There are NO negatives for me to speak of IMO!

Last word for Muzza really - I have said before that I doubted his fitness and commitment and he has well and truly SHUT me up. Captain fantastic is a giant for us right now.

Can we kick on an match the fitness and intensity of bottom 4 SL? Unfortunately I doubt it but the then look what team spirit, grit and determination did for us back in the 80s. No stars as such just, blood, thunder and guts so maybe we can dream....

I'm more nervous than excited, not for me but for the club.

The boost it would give compared to recent times would be immense, just need to get the job done tomorrow and anything after that would be icing on the cake.

I've not posted on here for a long while. I read the forums everyday but absolutely wanted to just take a minute to add my comments to this thread. Tomorrow is massive in the context of our recent history. We all got caught up in the Fax v Fev 500k game last year, which was huge but I genuinely believe this is bigger. For the profile, crowds, tv coverage, increased money for a top 4 finish and the chance for our guys to take on full-time teams with nothing to lose is brilliant . RM, the BOD and all associated with this current team and season deserve every bit of praise they have received recently. Never did I honestly believe that we would be pushing for the four this season but team work and quality coaching has given us a chance. Good luck tomorrow guys, we'll be there in numbers and hope you can do exactly what you have done for the last two months. Excited is definitely the right word tonight .

Well it's here at last-the biggest game in Fax's history for a while. Would be massive irony if we nick 4th spot and Fev don't get in there-all on the same day. Until last couple of years Fev have, to be fair, been the best team in the league and if they blow it this season when it matters, that would be tough for them. I think Leigh have already shown what they can do and out of all the Championship clubs deserve a shot at SL in their current form.We need to get over the line today and then enjoy the rest of the season with no major expectations on us. Fingers and toes crossed for the boys today.
