No, for once we did want Leigh to win. It always was really, but confirms that the London game for us is a real "must win" encounter.

Workington result was good, mostly because it confirms that Dewsbury aren't really up to it.

Don't care who finishes top now, tbh, but I'd really like us to get that 4th spot. We'd put up a good show, but maybe lose 7 from 7 (hope not), but the extra cash for next year (with RM dictating where we spend it), and we could be on to a real good thing next season.

Btw (and I might eat my words next weekend), but if we "fear" Hunslet then we might as well give up!!!

Oh, and Charlie has an opinion, largely based on "favourites", but with no magic insight.

Leigh have been going to the well with mostly the same players time and again, they've had some tough games, it was going to take it's toll eventually, this weekend they lost how many of their players after the Fev fracas?

Similarly Dewsbury seem to be feeling the accumulative effects of a busy period, and they have an awful run of games coming up.

I think we might see Batley upset London midweek, and then London travel to Doncaster, which shouldn't be a problem.

Not as many as Fev did. That`s London 2 pts closer to you lot.

The Leigh result has been coming for some time even Leigh fans will tell you that but for mine its been coming for most of the season, Im certain that if our games against them were reversed ie. we played them at home second, we would have beaten them. That confidence of winning has got them by a lot of the time and with that you seem to get the luck of the bounce every now and again. It may do them a favour though and they can now refocus and live up to their billing as favourites for the league.

As for us if we can managed to beat London and Sheffield at home, a big ask, then we could potentially get to the end of the season only losing one more game. If we can do that we have a very good chance of 3rd given Sheffields remaining games. Again though thats a tad ambitious but I think we can probably afford to lose 2 maybe even 3 games and still get 4th as long as the ones we do not lose are Dewsbury and London.

Was hoping that the Bradford game was winnable as they may have claimed second with
no chance of winning league at that point.Now we can beat them,deny them the title and get a bigger crowd !! cheers London...

Good Evening John hope you are well?The Carolis have just arrived back from our London excursion,the game and result were very disappointing but that's life I expected us to lose at some point and London really deserved to win,though I realise it didn't help Fax,as for my prediction of 7th spot?there's a long way to go yet ,Fax have only won 1 game.
Mrs Caroli and myself were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary over the weekend so I treated her to a West End Show as well as the London game , maybe she's a Jinx?
