Halifax Rugby League Football Club has announced that it has teamed up with BeanBagSports, as its new Official Social Media Betting Partner, for the 2015/16 season.

BeanBagSports is a new exciting and innovative social network, for fans who love sport and like to follow the big events live, engage in social media and enjoy in-play betting. Sports celebrities host and chat with you through an interactive chat forum.

Phil Taylor is a well known ambassador for the relatively new concept; regularly running his own chat threads with fans. Taylor uses the platform to host games (as many journalists and well known faces do) on the sports he enjoys, even outside darts, most notably Football. Halifax RLFC are now the first official Rugby League side in Championship, or even Superleague, to begin our partnership with the user-friendly forum, and hope to help popularise sporting social media in the Rugby League world.
