Does the village stage football on a regular basis ? I noticed last night that an u21 game was staged there and i have seen Leigh Genesis football play there but think they folded ? we have major issues with our pitch staging dual sports and the football played at home in Manchester last weekend.

Yes the LSV does stage football matches ,both Man UK and Blackburn Reserves play there, Man UK played Chelsea reserves last night. |

| Perhaps if the council saw the bigger picture in the possibilities of the Shay Stadium it could invest in the pitch like it has always promised to do.
Mind you a local company promised to do just that.
