Loving the tries and hits against the Dulls

As a note: you didn't get many quick play the balls from Brendan Hill. How would he go in today's game?

Top player for us was Greg Austin. Always looked lay in defence but probably one of the classiest centres to grace the Fax colours.

Makes me sad to think we may never see players of this quality play for us ever again.

Never say "never again". Sport is cyclical. I'm sure people thought the same in the days of getting beaten by Cawoods but then came the mid 80's successes. We've had further peaks and troughs since then. Who knows what may be around the corner. I'm sure that Salford thought they were doomed and then Koucash turned up. Have a little faith.

KH has said they have looked abroad. It is all done to cost.

Dont have to look abroad, there are plenty already in the UK that would be better than what we have but we never seem to be linked with them.
