Good stuff from 1 - 17 today and hopefully the early season rustiness has worn off. Couple of big matches coming up with an opportunity to get increased numbers through the turnstiles.

1st - Manning (just awesome)
2nd - Johnston (we're seeing the turbo-charger kicking in now)
3rd - Cowling (just for those hits!)
Best performance of the season so far for me, and kept going for the full 80. Great preparation for next weekend, but just hope we don't "blow out" against Widnes and can't put in a similar showing against Leigh.
Doncaster somewhat packed in once we'd put the game to bed, but excellent from Fax that we kept on through the full game, especially in the last few minutes when we've seen soft tries conceded when a game's already been won.

Had this little argument a week ago with Gregg Floromos Boots (which incidentally are still in the centre circle at the Shay) I think Fax are fit enough and mentally strong enough to play high profile games every week, do we honestly think Karl trains them to say " well this week is tough, but next week is easy"
Surely you train to play ever game to win.
Today we showed how fit we are, we will be ready for Widnes and Leigh.

I hope so. It's not fitness that's the problem, it's what goes on between the ears! A straight 7 days between each game for us, which is good, but we have seen team's fade away after big performances against SL teams (Fax losing to Cas by golden point being the one that springs to mind!).
Today's performance has made me feel far more confident though!
Btw, Greg F placing his boots on the centre spot at the Shay is pretty much the most emotional moment I've ever experienced watching sport...!!
