Am beginning to come to the same conclusion. If we loose to Sheffield and Leigh the top two is gone, at that point I don't see what we have to loose by changing the coach.

A 'poor' Batley side? I'm not sure how you've jumped to that conclusion after only three games and with so many new players in our squad. Looks like you're using a pretty sweeping statement to support your 'knee jerk reaction'.

I would say Batley are weaker than last year. Not a "Poor team" but weaker especially after losing the 2 clowns for the season. With respect Fax should be beating Batley at home.

Why should Fax be beating Batley at home? Surely that is what sport is all about - the competition, the effort to try and win the game. If it was all so predictable it would be very boring.

Simply because Fax, as the home team, have the advantage and Batley have had some issues recently, that make Batley not as strong as what they were last year. Also after last weeks loss, Fax should have been even more determined to beat a rival at home, especially with the Sheffield game next week. Batley should be beating Fax at Mount Pleasant because they are at home and would be wanting further dent a rival. Trophy winning teams rarely lose one or two home games. Its usually away they have problems. If Fax wanted to be in the top 2 its games like last week and especially home games they must win.

I don't see this as a knee jerk reaction as a lot of us were saying the same last year and to be fair the year before, regardless of the NRC win.

We were told by Bradford, Salford and Batley fans what to expect. No plan B, not quite able to take a team to another level.
