Premier scheduling or Faxs decision to make it awkward for the away team to prepare?

There's only so far you can go down the road of making things difficult as the opposing side has to agree.

But once it's on t'telly, you do as the tv company says.

What's the point of this premier deal?

How much cash is paid to the hosting club? How much value does been on a subscription only channel with a small number of subscribers actually add to the products we sell to sponsors?

That said, are ground advertising boards relevant any more? I cant remember the last time I looked at one and thought "oh yeh, i'll go have a look at that company"

Kingstone Press may sponsor the competition, I'd never heard of them before they came along, and I've only ever seen a bottle of kingstone press cider outside of a rugby ground once. and that was half full sat on a wall in St Ives. So whoever had been drinking it hadn't finished it.

It's about perception. You can probably sell sponsorship better if you can show that games will be on some sort of telly. If Championship clubs aren't happy at receiving £10 per subscription sold (after customer declares club allegiance) then collectively they shouldn't sit on their hands and bleat. Drag yourselves into the 21st century and get a clue!! Don't leave it to the RFL because they have lost all commercial sense and awareness. Get your heads together and get a strategy because no-one else will do it.

7.30 pm a bit early but its manageable 8 pm would be better but 7 is a joke

say you finnish work at 6 this gives you less than an hour to get home changed an get there for kick off. Or if your from sheffield and traveling up after work your not going to make it and people wonder why attendances are down

It's a nonsense start time.I work in Stockport and am now going to have 'bomb' down the motorway in order to get to what is so far the biggest game of our season. If it is Sheffiled then that's another low quantity travelling group of spectators as its even tougher for them and once again it will be a low revenue game for the Fax BOD.
IF we do win then at least we will some form a revenue coming from the final. IF not then looks like the BOD, will have to keep the cashlow going by their own money backed up by season ticket sales again in the lean months ahead.

It wouldn't matter what time the kick off was Sheffield supporters wouldn't make it.
