| No game on TV tonight - again. I took mine on a mid season offer, runs out in July. Don't think I'll bother renewing.

| I agree as far as the championship is concerned it has been poor.
Hardly any of the top team games have been shown, i won't be renewing next year.

| I don't know why they need to show games on Thursday. Knocks a 1000 off attendances in the big games. Glad Fax v Fev is on Sundays this year.
Why can't Premier pay clubs to compensate? Might see top teams play each other then

| It is a terrible deal for clubs who can't afford to be on it with no reward
Get it for NRL and the WC

I know I am a boring old git but Thursdays don't do it for me either.
At least when it used to be more or less alternate home and away on the Sundays you knew were you stood, no thinking or messing around needed it just became part of the routine, now it's anyones guess.
I am convinced this has lost us and others some support.

There are some cracking games in the NRL and the picture quality has improved at least on my TV from last year.
The annoying thing is though that these games and State of Origin were on Sky.
It smacks of these games going to Premier Sports in an attempt to get some more money out of us.
Which in my case it has.

| Agree with the last two posts.
This is actually the Government's fault (always a popular choice) because in trying to stop one company having a monopoly, they've just cost folk a boatload of money, signing up to half a dozen subscriptions.
Doesn't matter to MPs, obviously. They just stick it on their expenses and we pay again.

I have read it somewhere but can't exactly remember where that in the UK at least Premier Sports were using Sky equipment to film and screen the Championship games because they didn't have their own.
Does anyone know what their relationship is and if they have any ties to one another.

| Obviously, they've made an agreement to use their satellite.
I understand that Premier are the UK based arm of the Irish company Setanta.

Is the Fax/Fev game scheduled for Sun 14th definitely not going to be shown? It's the absolute stand-out fixture that week (as it would be any week to be fair) and nothing on RFL/Premeir Sports website yet about which game will be played on the Thursday.

| The only thing that stands out from this years standout fixtures is that they have not been shown very often.
Fax v Fev is currently scheduled for Sunday 14th unless they change it nearer the day.
Personally I hope it is played on the Sunday which should attract the biggest crowd.

Why not cancel your Sky subscription ?
They had no interest in showing NRL or our league which allowed Premier to step in and provide me with the rugby coverage I wanted. It annoyed me last season, that Sky showed 4 Aussie games - State of Origin and Grand Final & I was forced to watch them on Sky when Premier had shown everything else
