Noticed on the fax twitter/facebook page that there is a secret to be told on the 4th june at 19.00. New signing maybe? Anyone have a incling to what it maybe?

I believe Nigel has reached his target weight and when the scales confirm it on the 4th BskyB will release an extra £1m funding for each SL club.

I,m not a follower of twitter, reminds me too much of that club I dislike, but apparently tweeting has been going on all day.
I have been shown 1 tweet with an accompanying photo of our favourite back office author and I have narrowed the "surprise" down to three choices.
1. Frank Watene is coming out of retirement.
2. Meatloaf is to appear at the Shay.
3. Malcolm will come out of the closet.

If you read this weeks rugby league press there is an article involving Halifax which could become an issue, surprisingly it has not been mentioned but it will come out sooner or later the outcome of which will have an impact on the club.
No it wasn't old Geoff and is not a hint at negative stuff or putting out a rumour.
The BOD of Fax are an team of outstanding individuals without whom we would have no club and do not have to be given a chance, their integrity is unquestionable.
Anything announced by the club must be important and it's only reasonable to hope it is good news or really really good news.

So what's the article saying in the press?? Don't buy any if the RL papers but am assuming as its in print you wouldn't be giving anything away so doubt the 4th June and this article are related???

Just can't see it being buying the Shay tho. That would create outrage.....

If it was buying/taking the lease on the shay I'm sure councillors would have made comment. That Raistrick bloke hates sending money that way. And it'd have to be mentioned in the council meetings which are publically documented I think

If it is an opportunity to buy shares in the club this may look as though the club is strapped for cash by some observers. I'm not sure either if this offer would bear much fruit seeing as though we're down to only a hardcore of 1,500 fans who are sitting in the middle of a recession.

Whatever it is - let's hope the night ends positively. At a time when RL stands on the edge of a gravelly forked road I don't think many of those 1,500 could stomach more turmoil.
