Terrace? Booking my tickets for the Italy Tonga WC game. Think ive stood in the North stand previously, so unless there is a significant reason not to, I was planning on doing the same again.

There is a bar in south stand.

Try ringing the club they will advise you. 01422 342792, I doubt there will be any call for the North Stand so Royal Fax above says, try the South Stand, nice bar, good burger van and above all, nice people. If you feel like being a toff, try sitting in the East Stand, excellent viewing.

If it's open, I'd choose the north stand out of nostalgia/novelty factor. The terracing is banked much steeper in that end of the ground.

so long since been in that end forgotten what its like.

Let's confuse the TV company & all buy standing tix for that end. More beers & chips in the South stand for HalifaxJohn......

When I was young I was very foolish, I hadn't seen the light (Rugby League) I stood on the North Bank to watch Town v Birmingham, Trevor Hockey for Birmingham, the following year, I think, Town v Stoke, Gordon Banks in goal, the ground was packed both times. Both cup games.
That's when crowds were crowds!

I've always like the View from the North Terrace, much steeper banking although a little more open to the elements.

My dad was disappointed when the roof went on the North, as him and a few others used to spectate Halifax Town games from the roof of the HBOS carpark
