| Contested Training Session could translate to a "Friendly" fixture.
Hopefully it won't be behind closed doors and we'll be able to see it, If The Pitch at The Shay is still questionable though then that could raise issues.

| Interesting piece. Quite surprised they run with such a big squad - 33 players must mean they can rest / rotate and manage workloads quite easily. Do they run a second team or an under 21 outfit to keep players match fit ?

| The Storm run a NYC team (under 20s) which is run by a mate of mine Anthony Seibold who was at Crusaders, Hull KR and South Wales Scorpions in the UK. Some of the lads no doubt will play for the feeder clubs (Cronulla Cobras in NSW and Brisbane East Tigers in Queensland).Interesting that another Halifax Lad who was at King Cross Park, is having a 4 month trial with the U20s. Melbourne also will run for the first time ever an U16 team.

Zak, forget his last name for a moment, it will come to me, played for King Cross Park, a nice lad, helped out on a Sunday with the under 8's. A new challenge was required and we all wish him the best and hope he takes his chances. He's left a lot of friends behind and as he's still in his teens it's a big move for him.
All at KCP wish him well.

| Why would you do it behind closed doors
Even if its just a training session charge people a few quid to come and watch them train
Missed opportunity if you don't ,

I think that has to be the answer, it's a shame but if that's what they want?
Perhaps if that's what they are worried about they could sell a ticket at the club shop, apply in person?
Although perhaps it's a stewarding issue,
