I'm thinking our squad will be a few players lighter next season than this with all the departures. Most players either already on a 2 year deal or re-signed rather than preparing for 2012 with a lot of new signings but there are quite a few moving on plus Jimbo retiring.
Fair enough Nanyn & Morro ought to be likened to new signings after their injuries.

I would think that KH will have given and will be giving a lot of thought to in's and out's to try and get the balance of both numbers onboard and what role the players will be doing.
Ideally you would need a good first pick line up with enough players to provide competion for places and to provide cover for injuries.
On the topic of injuries we have had more than our fair share this year and ended up running out of fit players at the end.
The problem is of course that if you have a squad of 20 to 22 not all of them are going to be getting a game each week.
Reasoning that all the squad should be of a first team standard then there will be some that get a bit disgruntled if they are left out for any period of time as any of us will testify to we all wanted to play and not be stood in the crowd watching.
It is fairly clear who is outgoing with an odd one or two still to be confirmed and rather than speculate on who will be incoming I am watching with interest to see what KH does.
It will give an insite into where he thinks improvements are needed.
In this context watching this space will keep me going for a while in the off season.

Could be the reverse. With 26 league games and other cup games our squad could be even bigger or more likely they will utilise the under 21s and get them involved more . Is the salary cap the same for next year ? Anyone know .

U21's ?

Second team , u21s , u18s whatever age they are !!!! Iif not then surely it will have to be a bigger first team squad.

If our squad is leaner and we have the same injuries, with more games, then we'll be stuffed.
I just hope it's a good squad that is consistent.

think penkys gonna be a massive loss for you next years guys, he's been the matchwinner in so many games for you over the years and unless you replace him with some real quality i just cant see you being as much as a threat next year. as a fev fan penkys caused fev so much trouble over the years and i now think leigh will be so much stronger with him in the team and leigh will be fevs main rivals next year unless fax have got something big up their sleeve with new signings!
