And if they do, do they care.
Speaking to a salesman in my home last night who happened to notice I was wearing my Fax Polo shirt, he proceeded to tell me he and his son were Leeds season ticket holders.
I didn't hold his against him until he asked?
And believe me this is true,
"What division are you in?"
Incidentally such a big fan, he couldn't "make" Wembley.
Should have been a Bullsh"ters fan then.
Especially as his company are Bradford based.
Needless to say he didn't get my order.
Although I didn't tell him to BOGOF
"Yer buy one, yer get free, etc etc.

If that's an attempt to speak the great Yorkshire language, please note that you need to replace "is thee" with "atta".

| Leaving Wembley on Saturday in my Batley shirt amongst all the plastic (buy a shirt, become a fan) Rhinos fans, and I heard some prat behind me sneeringly saying to a friend ; 'Batley Bulldogs, who the f**k would support Batley Bulldogs?'
You might be laughing at the above statement, but it's indicative of the attitudes of a great many SL fans. FWIW I turned around and gave him a verbal volley.

| Its sad now when we go to Wembley, I have noticed a big change as when we were in SL we used to get fans recognise the shirt and the odd 'Oh Ali, Ali' sung to us by other clubs fans and talked to about RL, hardly ever now does this happen, its like we are unwanted and lepers but maybe not just us, not much banter goes on full stop that I notice now.
I think is it me but not really i will talk to any clubs fans, yer obviously when we are no longer ivals it is a bit different but I give Championship 1 clubs fans the time of day if i see any, not many are out there sadly.
I think Wembley has lot its atmosphere maybe it is bcuase the old stadium had more of it and going back longer used to have standing which was very loud! Dunno but it aint the same and I am not just saying to say it was better in my day as I have been going for over 30 years.

| It's simple, either don't go to Wembley or don't wear your club colours if you can't stand the banter.
We had some right old fun with the Bulls couple in our stand at this year's NRC final, serves 'em right, got what they deserve, what goes around comes around, think of a cliche, it's all a bit of fun FFS.

This wasn't 'banter' though, it was clearly a snide comment that was made when the snivelling individual concerned assumed (wrongly) that we were out of earshot. His immediate reaction - which was to quietly shoot off with his pedal to the metal, when we confronted him about his comments, was hardly the stuff that 'banter' is made of.

| There isn't a better time as now to rattle an argument off with SL fans. Bradford have given us a hell of a lot of ammunition, so too have London, Salford and the new darlings Widnes. The inferiority complex just isn't there anymore because SL is only half super. Half of the clubs in there are no better than those on the outside. No better at all. Just a set of Mrs Bouquet wannabees.

| i work and live im leeds now and alot of the lads i work with are rhinos fans. most of them have only been watching them since 2004 just before the glory days started and have no idea about their history and other teams outside super league. leeds have always been well supported but quite alot of their fans will have only started watching from the super league era thus having no knowledge of what went on before.
same might go for teams like warrington and bradford too, i can remember going to odsal and wilderspool in the 90's and warrington and the bullls were struggling to get 3000, what do they get now,10-12000? so alot of that extra crowd will be new supporters who probably didnt watch them all those years ago when they were'nt doing as well, there'll be the old supporters too who have come back but most of these new supporters wont have a clue about what went on pre super league!!!
