I Beleive these 2 forwards offer too much to be on the bench. They really lifted the team today. Sam is on fire at the moment. It seems to me when he on the field we control The game. He a prolific try scorer. Makalie were great tonite too.

I think that is the point of them being on the bench so they can make the explosive impact they make from the bench against tiring defences.

Look at Rob Burrow for Leeds last year. Far too good to be on the bench many thought but it turned out to be an absolute masterstroke.

True but it seems to me when big Sam goes off we fall away in the forwards. He is out only forward bar manning who can create something from nothing. Don't think he is on the field long enough. When he is er score or we look dangerous.
Sean P feeds on the back off offloads. Leigh were effective at keeping him quite.

Stand out forwards for me last night, Luke Ambler ran hard and did a decent job but whats gone wrong with Chandler he is nowehere near as effective as he was 3 months ago, his tackling is poor too we missed Robinson.

Isn't Chandler out at Dewsbury ?

3 players that have been awesome at times this year.

i have not lost faith in this team just yet.

we can only go out and do our best to beat Batley well, and get some confidence back for the play offs.

i feel that on Friday we lost the game - how many times did we drop the ball on the 1st/2nd tackle when we looked to have a roll on. Made afew good breaks too and couldnt finish them! plus roby was useless for both teams and made some very poor calls at key times.

I don’t think our players are as good when they play on midweek. I knew as soon as I realised it was a Friday fixture we would loose. Still looked at the score with optimism when I popped home for lunch though.
