Got to say apart from a few 'silly moments' like don't put that flag up its a Fev only pub we found the Fev fans okay this weekend and took defeat well which was a big relief, we even got told the best team won and well done a few times.
So hopefully things are on the up between the two sets of fans.

I wonder if that was the same bunch of obnoxious little scrotes who were at the back of our coach (No.1) who kept us all waiting around 20 minutes for the return journey and then spent the next hour and a half demonstrating to a bus full of men, women and kids how noisy and foul-mouthed they could be. Still, they may mature once their balls drop I suppose.

They definitely weren't regular supporters as they kept singing about some team called "Bluesox?"

All clubs have them, I'm afraid.

Luckily Blackpool is big enough to avoid any idiots if you want to so we stuck mainly to the quieter pubs and had a good chat and laugh with a few Fev fans just like RL should be.

I agree mate,all the fallouts can be traced back to the root cause of some idiots from both sides that claim to be supporters and then the rest of us get drawn in when the insults start.

There are a few things I would really like to see happen in our game and high on the agenda is that Fax and Fev can just get along as before all this started.
Two traditional clubs with passionate supporters that enjoy the game on the pitch and the game and banter of it.
With this sort of normal rivalry the game is that much better and coupled with the other competative teams in the Championship it has given us all a new lease of life outside the so called promised land of SL.

We may not realise but it may never be this good again for a lot of us.

Let's enjoy it while we can.

Looking forward to a hard game against the Eagles on Sunday and hopefully another titanic game with the Rovers before the season is over.

I had an enjoyable couple of pre match bevvies in the Working Mens Club near the fax end of the ground, it's "Blackpool's #1 club" I know this as it says so on the outside! (what club doesnt?), their was a healthy mix of Fev and Fax fans of all ages inside and everyone had a good time.

Also need to mention the local police were fantastic, they were friendly and happy to have a laugh with people, the motorcyclists in the coach park were helpful, but got a bit fed up waiting for the last few and wanted to get off, only to come back 10 mins later saying their sergeant had sent them back and to take the coaches to the ground to collect the few who were in with the players ect

Most fev coaches that passed our coach park were waving, their was the odd few who thought sticking their fingers up would be amusing, but they're probably the same ones who'd left before the hooter and had probably got a bit bored sat on that bus for half an hour!

Nah, I met up with the usual Fev lads & lasses that I know well enough to drink with in the Auctioneer pre-match. Things went so well that we decided not to utilise the sponsors lounge tix that we had for the pre-match jobby at the ground. Shame I missed Robin for a natter but I was busy educating the smokers who were heading to the smokers corner outside for a crafty windswept gasper on the health benefits of missing that bit out & staying inside. Not too many took much notice like...

Had a great day all round, met MM and Fevgrinder in The Auctioneers, had a lot of banter with Fev Fans and never saw any unpleasantness. Great at the back door, Colin, every time someone went out into the smokers area or came back in the wind and the smoke blew inside, one old bloke and his party eating their half chicken and chips got quite cross, result? in and out more often. Blimey you don't go to Blackpool to be serious.
Does any one remember when a pub smelt worse for smoke inside, now you have to leave the "fresh air" and go inside for a breather?
Incidently Fevgrinder introduced me to a rather attractive lady "John this is my better half"

As for the other thread, "Raising the Bar" I found it at just the right level wherever we went.
I for one would be very happy to meet Fev in the Grand final or any where for that matter.
The two most consistent tems in the Championship.
A league that could not do without one of us.
