Anyone that’s watched the TV recording, did you notice the women briefly caught on TV cameras giving it two hands full of Spanish Archers to Fev fans. The cameras couldn’t move off her quick enough. She looked the well to do type, someone that you’d expect to find behind an accountants desk, that’s what probably made it so funny.

The same could be said of a certain coach.

If you have recorded it and watch the final play on Smeaton at the end he basically gets tackled by 5 Halifax players.
The camera moves in and out of that area as the final hooter goes but something goes on with a bit of pushing and shoving and finger pointing with the Halifax tacklers and a few Fev players who were just looking after their team mate so to speak, no punch up or anything like that.
When DP comes on to the field shortly after he gets involved part of which includes an exchange of words with Dane Manning with players in between them, nothing really nasty but there was a bit of fronting up which lasted a short while as the players were shaking hands.
I saw more live than on the film but it looked just like a typical off the cuff spat with a bit of come on then macho thrown in.
I can only think of this as to what is being reffered to but an arrest over this would seem to be a bit excessive unless there's more to it.

Aye she was in the Fev end Bob but I think she was purely giving us the double V for victory sign in recognition of the two big final wins over them, that's what we would have done of course tables reversed.

Why is it that so many people seem to think that prefixing the words 'man' or 'men' with 'wo' reverses the plural/singular form? Pedantic, I know.

Police and stewards escorted someone from Fev area down touchline just before end so perhaps that where missile came from.

Was it that way round? I thought it sounded like Barlow asking for whoever threw stuff to be arrested.

Oh well. Some people are in the wrong either way and should be dealt with accordingly.
