Sunny spells and occasional showers on Sunday, some of these heavy and locally thundery.
Temp: 15 degrees (knobbly knees)
Could we have expected anything different in July?

| great day and match - when i watch the match again it was saxton who turned the game on its head - there was some amazing skill displayed by both teams - but Hardman under the high ball was the killer for fev

I disagree, think the evacuation (rightly) of the stand and the delay (also rightly) turned the game on its head
You were struggling at that point in time and definately on the rack, we were in the ascendency, then the break for the evacuation gave you rest you needed and we lost our momentum, which we never got back in the second half despite 2 scores - one from a lucky deflection and the other from a failed interception
Calland summed it up - fax saved their best performance for the final

| I will be surprised if worrincey does alot on Sunday he will be a marked man too fast to give any space to him although I think he will have to return a few high balls
Can't wait for the match setting off tommorrow and if you lot have sold as many tickets as someone said on here we will just have to sing a bit louder to make up for it Hope the weathers fine so we can all have a laugh together before and after the match

What turned the game on it's head was the Fev players listening to the "we are the Champions" chants from their fans. Believed it and switched off. Conversely, Fax players heard it and thought "no chance, not having that!"

Old chestnut but sadly the modern game only recognises the Grand Final winners as Champions in SL, Championship and Championsip 1. Finishing top of the pile only gives you the league leaders trophy and they had to have their arm twisted to give that the RFL!
Looking forward to tomorrow, nervous.
