I don't take pleasure from Bull's issues however somebody needs to wake up at Red Hall.

This sport is governed by clowns and geneuine people that run clubs like ours get overlooked.

It's alright having a business plan scrutinised pre license hand out, but are there rules about having to stick to it? Also, Surely the plan must have been speculative as the directors were quite clearly relying on on pitch performance as a source of income which just hasn't happened.

Investors will now be shuffled in to start from scratch. You and i have paid for this by way of taxation. If my company misses one monthly payment of PAYE, HMRC are all over our backs so it's about time they wound up the irresponsible tax dodgers who run sports clubs.

Going into Administration was in the Bulls license application. It's all part of a three year plan. By 2015 all the turmoil will be over and the RFL/Bulls can pat themselves on the back for a job well done.

The franchise syestem is little more than a joke aimed at feathering the nest of the top clubs which included bradford. In there case the wheels came well and truely off and has led to the current state of play.
What I would question is how well written was the Bulls business plan because as the franchises were only haded out a little over twelve months ago surely at that point the writing was on the wall.
Questions have to be asked and in keeping with one or two others, if I was running the Halifax club i'd be very wary about jumping into the super league bed.

Whilst we would have more income we would need to ensure that we do not go out and spend stupid money on old men, but to be fair , the club is more important than the league we play in.

Whilst it is not something to gloat about even over our bitter rivals it is ironic that the club that were a big part of the reason why we are no longer a force in the game are now suffering themselves. I don't recall much sympathy for us back in 1999, 2001 and 2004 especially from Bulls fans and their Chairman at the time Chris Caisley. Oh no they were glad to 'eliminate' a club that was what they classed in their catchment area for support, remember the adverts in the Courier and free tickets in calderdale schools, amateur clubs etc.. they were everywhere poaching what would traditionally be our fans, yes they excelled in marketing the game but it was at OUR cost.

So no sympathy from me, apart from the poor fans who helped raise the £500K which was a waste of their time now they have gone bang, their Board are as bad as the RFL corrupt, its illegal to run a company while trading insolvent.
The RFL obviously turned a blind eye to this when the Frachises were given out, it proves what I have always said about Franchises and that is there are rules but they just smokescreen a process which is just down to who the RFL want in SL and those they don't, if your face fits you are in but i doubt they dare ever kick a club out, its a bent system I hate it. Bit like a mafia the RFL you have to dance to their tune and you are okay no mattter what, look at Bradford they are BUST yet you bet they will still be in SL next year!

It would seem from listening to the comments on this afternoons radio that the Iestyn Harris situation where alleged poaching was at the forefront has cost the Bulls millions in compensation has a lot to do with the finacial mess that they are in.

A big problem for the Bulls is that they no longer own Odsal, so their assets are extremely small. Players cant really be classed as assets so what do they have left? An investor would want assets as a safeguard to any investment.

A big problem for the Bulls was that they let their fans watch top class SL Rugby League for Netto prices.
