| Just listening to Peter on the radio, and he really does not like Halifax. I remember a testimonial game at Thrum Hall, I want to say it was Ben Beavers Testimonial game but I am not sure. Chris Anderson took the trip over from Australia to play in it. Peter was the Halifax coach and brought himself on in the second half the first thing he did was drop the ball and then for no reason punch Chris Anderson. I thought then he was a ………. Very bitter man with very few friends, listening to him for the first time in a long time has just confirmed this thought

| I was listening to him too. What a tool. His comment about Martin Wood and Jason Ramshaw too "they got shoved out at Halifax and reinvented their careers at keighley".

I have no axe to grind one way or the other with Peter, but, isn't that statement true?

| Peter Roe has applied for Richard Lewis' old job at Red Hall. If he gets it our licence bid will fly through. . . . . .
. . . the window and into Nigel Wood's outside toilet.

i think peter is a great guy, he still thinks fax's promotion to the top league was down to him and not the cheque book of the richest man in uk rugby at the time

I could have coached that team to promotion and I was only about 15 at the time!

| He slated Halifax in a Facebook convo I was having with some FB Fev mates a few months ago. I actually texted my Fev mate tonight while listening to this sad bitter man on radio Fev tonight & they love the clown.
I hope Halifax RLFC sweep all before them this season if nothing other than to shut his poisoned mouth, hey, most of us have had the big E from Fax at some point one way or another.......
I'll always remember the dummy playing centre for Hunslet at Elland road and he was on the receiving end of a head butt from our winger Mick O'Byrne, a scrap ensued, Roey got his ass royally kicked & as both players were going down the tunnel after being sent off, Roe asked Mick for his two front teeth returning to their rightful owner as they were still embedded in Mick's forehead, so he copped some more down the tunnel area for good measure.
We went back to Barry Langton's pub ( brother of Terry ) after the game and it was quite an atmosphere with the players of both teams in attendance

| Listened to same stuff on way home from match and couldn't believe how many times JD said "a former club of yours" to Roe.That guy must have coached more clubs that some people have had hot dinners-perhaps that says something about his coaching abilities and/or his people skills!
