I understand Heaton, but I don't get Reittie. We have got quite a few wingers / centres and he's hardly the prolific try scorer (got 7 last season). However I trust Karl's judgement......

I was looking at some of the posts about Reittie yesterday evening, and he might actually be quite a useful player to have. He can play down the wings and and - as the Batey fans have stated - could easily fit into the Second Row. And he's only 22(?).

I wonder if we sign anymore Batley players KH will have a slope put on the pitch to make them feel at home.

Reittie has caused us problems every time we played Batley last season, hes strong, aggressive and fast. I rate him and am over the moon we have signed him.

He might not be as prolific at try scoring as Rob or Paul, but he offers something different, draws in defenders ect,

Would like to see him second row, or centre. Not nearly as effective on the wing as Rob or Paul. But he runs it in direct and hard, big lad, so could be good.

Reittie- Umm not sure for me a Winger should be scoring tries and Reittie doesnt have a great try scoring record. From what little I have seen he is not great with ball in hand to play centre. The first signing that I have reservations over to be honest but we will see.

Heaton- I will be honest and say I have never heard of him but he comes with big raps and probably relatively cheap. People better than me say he should be in SL and so sounds like a great signing. Greenwood will be missed but Heaton sounds like he is a good replacement.

That's how I see it gives us options and the added aggresion I think we will love him.

Just to point out that Rob also came to fax with the same tag that he didn't score enough tries. Look how he has developed.

In WR's defence, the style of rugby that KH coached did not suite either winger getting 20+ tries a season.
