Well, like the Halifax of old, goes to show we are no worse off without Calland, but could do we Noble for the rest of the season to "steady the ship".

Penkywicz, though pretty error prone today, made the difference again setting up a number of tries.
Barlow had one of his off days. Azuie made some huge surges in attack. Paul Smith is starting to impress again, Worrincy showed his "gaff-prone" mode tonight but White was very good and that pick up of the ball for his last try was sublime. The ref made some poor decisions. First, he awarded Toulouse a try which had a hint of obstruction then awarded Danny Jones a try when I think half his body was in the dead ball zone, and he allowed Toulouse to push up in defence a little too quick for most of the game and made a few incorrect decisions when the ball had gone to ground.

If any other team barring York or maybe Dewsbury were playing us today, we would have got beat.
Though I'll greatfully take the 3 points.

The bottom line is, if Noble doesn't stay on, we ain't getting anywhere near to the Grand Final.

Jacob Fairbank started in the 13 for Huddersfield today, and with no Black, Nash, Bannister & Patterson, a results a result I suppose.

MOM for me

Azuie
Penkywicz
White

Well all I can say is the 3 points gained, ron weasley had a poor performance as ref and tried hiding behind Harry Potter.....but he was not anywhere to be seen!!!! Azui was quality as usual, as looked like he enjoyed the chants, penky fas as.....speedy gonzalez out of dummy half!!! Danny Jones got through a load of effort in defence!!!!

I'm pretty sure that Bannister played. But, the reality was that we didn't need a "full" team to deal with Toulouse. Batley will give us a better clue as to prospects for rest of the season (post Calland), but clearly, we need to up our game significantly from today to make progress in the playoffs.

Aizue MOM for me. He was unplayable at times.

Not great was it. Both teams poor defensively . Toulouse better than I thought they would be - they ran some very good lines. White our best back while aizue had a stormer. Mixed bag from penky - thought his quick thinking and clever kick for the last try was brilliant.

I am fairly sure that it was announced around the 1900 mark, which given that Toulouse only brought a couple of players wives, wasnt bad at all, given the week when we have well and truly been kicked in the gonads......

All these fans for a non event, a game that means nothing to anyone and for a game that they got well and truly royally stuffed by a team that doesnt have a future...

But they have been in Superleague for many a year and they have just been given the largest Christmas present / get out of jail free card, that they could ever wish for.
