| I am sure like me you are still trying to digest the shock news that Wakefield have been given a reprieve in super League by the RFL and despite our beloved Halifax RLFC putting in a very strong application we have once again been overlooked in favour of a team that as a ground that at best can be described as bog standard I ask the RFL what crowds would Wakefield attract if they was in a closed door championship? The simple answer is bugger all. Wakefield have broken rules in their application and any fair independent panel would have booted them out without even reading their application yet this so called independent panel includes Richard Lewis and Fat boy wood is this independent? My bottom it is. So like me I guess you feel robbed, lied to, used and betrayed by a set of conmen who should be criminally charged in the trade descriptions act. so are we going to just take this on the chin? I hear people crying out for action to be taken by everyone who loves our great club so I am going to start a group called Justice for Fax and want as may of you to join and spread the word. Hopefully because of the large scale of this injustice we will also attract people from other clubs to join us too. We will be looking at really sticking it to Richard Lewis and his bent organisation so any ideas on what actions to take please let me know but keep it legal and peaceful. Lets make our voice heard lets show our discontent. Up the fax
Neil

Just a group that gets everyone together I am going to get the ball rolling at Saturdays game and will try to sort out a meeting for discontent fans where we can organise protests to red hall or a super League sky game and also try raise some money for the Fax Fund builder fund along the way. I will even invite Richard Lewis, Nigel Wood and Ralph Rimer to come and address the Fax fans at a special meeting and I am sure in the very unlikely event that they take up my invite we will make them very welcome.

| I think you're right what you're saying about Richard Lewis. He's helped kill Rugby League by scrapping promotion and relegation, but don't take your anger out on Wakefield. I reckon the rules stink as must as anyone, and feel that the side who finishes bottom should go down, but I can't see at how the Halifax bid could have been better than Wakefield's in any way at all.

| how about, stadium, finance ( dont give me BS about the future with your new owner, you should be judged on your past, anyone can make promises), community work (yes i believe ours is better seen as we have won awards for it), training facilities now we have the new college, on field performance.
on the other hand you have better junior development, i make that 5-1.
however, congratulations on your success, and i would definitely rather have you than 'saders and 'quins

Don't worry about that mate it's not Fax against Wakey.
At the very worst it might be Fax's bid against Wakies.
If one or two of us get ed of it's in the heat of crushing dissapointment and not personel.
It sure is Fax against the RFL.
All the best for SL next year it had nothing to do with Wakey fans.

What attendances would Wakefield have in a closed doors championship? Bugger all is the answer to that simple question. You have a better youth set up because it is funded by the RFL we have to fund our own just think what we could do with that RFL funding? Wakefield should be out we should be in simple mate

| Oh !! for God's sake, sit down, shut up and wind your kneck !!!!! all this bleating andwhinging isn't going make an iota of difference to the decision, you can stand in the corner and spit your dummy out from now until hell freezes, but face facts, you are not getting a licence.
So accept it, sit down, get your stadium right, your crowd figures right, I mean genuine ones, not the super inflated figures you tried to con the rugby public with, finances in order and get a good youth policu and youth teams going, then apply again. Until you do all that you are not going to get any sympathy about your positio
To be honest with you, the more you go on about the decision, the more people are going to get pi**ed off with you.

Ok well whilst we do all those things you suggest we put right you can use your time effectively to get a grasp or maybe tiny understanding of the English language and the spelling of our words. Go be a troll on cbeebies where you can mix with intellects just above your current IQ and still have room for some learning! C ya

Okay, we might not have the fanciest stadium, but I've never had an issue with it - it's great in the sun, I wear a coat if it's cold and put my hood if it rains. Finance is irrelevant now, as administration was no longer a criteria as this was withdrawn to protect Crusaders. Either way, it would only have an effect up to 2010 and we went in to administartion in 2011. We've also won awards for our community work, but you probably won't know that. Not quite sure what training facilities have to do with the criteria. On field performance? That's a strange one as we've had a top 5 finish in Super League within the current license period and we've recently being awarded the highest marks for our junior development. Oh, and also we also scored highly on our commercial team too.

Not really a valid arguement that is it? How can you be certain that Halifax's attendances would be so great if you were promoted? Personally, I think ours would be higher. We're currently having one of our worst seasons for years, yet crowds are up considerably on last season, yet you want to pull us down for this? Have a look at a few other other clubs in Super League and you'll soon realise that we are far from the worst application. The problem is the media have told us for a while that Wakefield would be out, and if you say something for long enough, people will start believing it.
For what it's worth, I'm actually against franchises, and fully support promotion and relegation, as it gives everyone something to play for. And also, Wakefield have never finished bottom or been relgated from Super League. I'd say we are there on merit.

your playing in a competitive league, we are playing 20 freindlies a season,
we have been in Super League before, you get away support too where as in our league only Widnes and a couple of others bring some.
are you planning on having the new stadium ready in 3 years or will that be part of the next franchise bid having a new stadium.

And that's what really gets my back up, that teams can play for a entire season and not have anything to show for it. Or in your case, three seasons. Sport is about winners and losers on the pitch, not business plans and stadiums. I used to go and watch games all over when Wakefield weren't playing, but the RFL have taken all the pleasure Rugby League so much that I now only care about Wakefield, not the game itself. We're playing Crusaders this Sunday and the game is worthless and nobody will care. Could you imagine if relegation was still possible? It would be the game of the season but instead it's a nothing game. the RFL have done this, not Wakefield.
