I'm sorry, but I just don't fancy Brian Noble as Halifax RLFC coach full time, whether or not Matt is or isn't with the club in the future.
I just don't fancy paying to watch boring RL, hell I could go to Odsal, Galpharm or Headingley for that. OR, to watch decent RL, I could travel to the other side of the Pennines for the likes of Saints, Warrington or Wigan.
Even the NRL has got out of defensive mode & play with flair nowadays.....
I wonder what the future holds for our beloved club's style of playing rugby league ?

I think Nobby is SL bound next year.
The club should definately recruit a coach who will continue with the flair. Yes, it's great to be solid in defence but what gets me excited is attacking flair. It's why i've enjoyed the last 5 years so much.

If Fax have been given the nod for SL then Nobby will have the job. But my mate inside the RFL reckons he has more chance of sleeping with Angelina Jolie than Fax getting into SL. I do hope he is wrong as SL is the only thing that would get me back watching Fax. Roll on Tuesday.

I totally agree Richie-boy apart from the "solid in defence" bit. I seem to recall not spotting Ridyard running the ball in the last play of the game last sunday, oh, and the previous 39 minutes of being "solid".
