Every player did us proud in the effort department today. Injuries, people coming back etc but we were still the better team for large parts of the game. Just didn't have that final touch or killer instinct on the day!

Agreed. Nothing to be ashamed about in that defeat. Top effort, few unlucky bounces (non more so that when White nearly kicked through on the wing - probably a certain try if he'd connected) which could of put us 10 up with 5ish to play. But great effort all round, everyone stepped up.

If..... we had received a penalty when Beswick was clearly pulled back
If.... the 40-20 attempt had not gone out on the full
If..... Paul Whites kick had got the right bounce

still dont understand why first try disallowed when black played them all onside.

Gutted and a long journey back to Bristol but..... Great game of rugby. Leigh made the mistakes in the first half (and the vid ref ). Fax coughed up the ball on 3 bad mistakes in the second half. That is the type of play that makes for a good Cup Tie. We were underdogs but mad a fantastic effort. Well done all the lads and I hope a few of the supporters will make the effort to ghet to the Shay in future. Lets concentrate ont he rest of the season now.

Agreed, i saw it at the game and then again on sky when we got home, well and truly baffled...Well Done Leigh though ..the game definitley lived up to the expectations.

yes because Gannon was more than 10m infront of Black at the kick.Such a stupid offside rule but you know.

Was he? I'd say he was about 7-8m judging by the markings on the pitch.

I've just seen it and I must say I'm a bit confused. I get the impression it's more to do with the fact Gannon touched it but even then, did he? They never actually went to a close up to see if he touched it for certain, I thought he took a swipe at it and missed it to be honest.

Great game and one that could have gone either way, it just was not ours this time.
We played well, especially first half but they stepped it up and put some great kicks in second half but we still could have won it but for lady luck via the Ref and that extra six tackles they got, the chargedown, the just missed 40/20, Goddard and White over running the ball on the wing, that bouncing ball when they threw it wildly and it bounced around all over the place, the gamble they took going for a try not drop goal, it just was not to be never mind.
Good weekend and no problems with Leigh winning, well done and no probems with their fans either.
