Yes our reserves are top of the league but our 18's are the best in the land, stick any Fax 18's up against them and you'll get beat by a hundred.

The vast majority of this team are underage. Taking into consideration this is the first year together they are doing remarkable, and only just narrowly losing in most defeats. The positives are that as they get used to playing together in the future and gain more experience they will be a force. Holly will make a big difference in helping with the coaching with his experiece and knowledge of the game.
The teams potential problem is that 3/4 of the squad look quality players, and could possibly attract interest from other clubs.

Our 23s side, have only be formed this year so, it is inevitable that they will struggle against the better teams this season, whilst they are still gelling, especially as they are so young. However, despite their inexperience with Fax 23s, you can very rarely fault the effort, so as a fan knowing that they always give 100% you can't really ask for anymore.

Hopefully, with Holly being their new assistant manager that will have a positive impact, similar to the effect Noble has had with the first team.

btw those not familiar with the Academy structure, all the big teams play the kids in the higher age group until the play offs, Widnes get knocked out then and wonder why they can be top of the league but not win a play off game - its because you play the under 12's of the other clubs Vikingman.

I cant wait to see them running out in SL. I think some of them will do a really good job for Saints and Wigan et all when they break through.

Just because we've got the best u18s it doesn't mean that they're going to breakthrough straight away, they'll need to learn some lessons from experienced players first.
