That was the best performance I have seen from Halifax since the start of the 2009 season. It was the first game for a long time which I've seen (I didn't go to the Sheffield game) where Halifax wanted it more than the opposition. What a luxury to watch Halifax defend the goal line and be confident Leigh wouldn't score.
Well done to the players, to MC, to Nobby and to the Board for tonight. .....but there is still a very long way to go

This team of ours can out-score anyone, Leigh were awful and will go into reverse after the week they've had off the field.

This. Nobby has obviously had a positive effect. But then again why wouldnt he, he is a quality coach and the players must be thrilled to play under him. Lets not forget though MC brought this type of attacking rugby to us long before Nobby got here. Hopefully Nobby is just adding the finishing touches and both looked very pleased last night and so they should be. |
