im looking to start playing our glorious game again after over 10 years without doing so since leaving school really problem is i am so out of touch with what is going on in the amature leagues now so wouldnt know where to start?

im local to sowerby bridge so would like a club somewhere local to me but as i understand theres no longer any local clubs in this area.

help would be much appreicated lads.

King Cross Park, a fine bunch of lads with a fair sprinkling of ex Sowerby Spartan players.

Halifax RLFC are looking a little amatuer this year so far, See if they will have you on trial. ( tongue in cheek).

New players are always welcome at Halifax Irish, we train on the bottom rugby pitch on Saville Park Tuesdays & Thursdays 6pm.

Havnt played in over 10 years and i was a slight nimble little winger then.

now im 5ft10 and 16 and a half stone so i guess ill probably end up in the forwards will need to start at the very bottom i think.

just dont want to get to 40 having never played sport in my adult years.
