If Carlsberg made rugby clubs, they would be like Widnes!: |

Doubt you'll see any gloating from Widnes fans, Fax fans are pretty well thought of and a trip to your place is always a good day!
I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that the Championship definitely has more than one club who are in a better state than several SL clubs and you are now the only team in contention to compete with them. I'd say you were strong in that challenge.
Chin up, and aim for July. SL needs a couple of proper rugby clubs in there, and I hope you come with us!

"I'd hate to be a Widnes fan. Our way of thinking is 'were going to the grand final and were gonna win it'. You lot couldn't care less and you haven't for the past 3 years. What a boring time you lot must have supporting your average rugby club. Still you must be exited becoming the super league whipping boys for the next few years? I hope O'Connor goes bankcrupt and you lot and the RFL are made to look daft. Oh and as for getting past Batley, we'd have hammerd them last week if it hadn't been for the wanky ref. We can and will beat Batley, Sheffield and your shower in a high pressure game, you'll see. Fax vs Leigh final, Fax to win on golden point! Watch this space."

Definatley, the way your clubs setup, it's not right for you to be a Championship team. Hopefully you will get the right decision in July.  |
