| If the club announced players that were not accepting new terms wouldn't that attract some possible extra sponsorship, the fans may be?
It worked with big Sam (Ivy house).
ie. if the club wrote to all fans and asked for £50 from each fan to retain (say 3 good) players I am sure sumat would come....

A good idea in principal, but wouldn't it fall foul of the salary cap as what would stop say Uncle Des at Barrow or Steve (were a cert for super league) doing it
