| No doubt everyone in the East Stand felt time stand still last night when Shad was thinking whether to score the try or accept the tackle was complete. It seemed to take forever. Having watched the replay, he clearly made the right decision as he was definitely tackled short, and Ben then served up the first course of his Black magic to score under the posts.
Its slightly ironic that having scored so many great tries for us, perhaps the most important moment of Shad's fax career was that decision not to score the try. If he had , it would have been referred to the video ref and disallowed, the comeback would not have started and we'd have probably lost by plenty. As it is, Ben scored and the rest is history.
I don't think many players would have shown such composure at such a key moment, and to me highlights what a great player Shad is. He deserves his shot at Super League and I hope he is very successful.
I also hope we re-sign him when we become a Super League team!

| Outstanding decision making, which illustrates his great rugby brain. Rate Shad very much! We will miss him next year... just a shame he can't be in SL with us next year!

| I think it was summed up well by Terry O Connor of all people. I think it was Eddie who said Bradford are getting a decent player and Terry had to correct him saying something along the lines of they are not getting a decent player they are getting a great player.

| Freddy, you've summed it up in one short post. Shad is not just a consummate athlete but also a real football brain. You've got this 100 per cent correct - and it was agonising watching for that split second or two, wondering whether he would stretch out for an illegal double movement, or take the tackle. He took the tackle - and as a result we won glory. Thinking man, for the team. Not many like him. Wish him all luck with his new club (I can't bring myself to name them!).

| He may not have scored a try in his last game for fax but that was as equally important as a try.
i know of many of our players in the past that have been in the same position and put the ball down and been penalised for a double movement.
that just shows what a great rugby brain he has, he knew he would be penalised and he smartly stopped and just played the ball and Black was able to sell the dummy and go in under the posts.
that decision from Shad was the start of the comeback.
Bradford certainly have a great player and there is no doubt he will be successful in Super League
