Im worried for us. Fev know how to play Hicks better than we do.

No really, SL refs understand the wrestling element better. They see it week in week out so they know when its legal or not.

That's the problem for me, there's too much of it.

Im sure Hicks will be keen to put himself in the shop window for a SL job, so i would imagine the Featherstone slowing tactics will be something he'll be watching, he cant get on top of what has obviously been a Featherstone ploy all season which it must be said, they have done well, he wont be promoted. i know he was pretty hard on Sheffielf not standing square and messing about so i dont think Featherstone will be quite as dominant in this area this time round. The trick for us is to be smart enough not to get drawn into Featherstone game and keep trying to get quick plays. Our defence and patience will ultimately be the key though.

a very blinkered view there sir, he doesn't see Barlow try to rip the ball everytime he stands up after a tackle or come in third man and flop with a sminging arm but i suppose if its not lying on thats ok hey?

For what its worth he isn't our favourite either but he's about the best in this division

I have no problem usually with Hicks, his improvement this season has been immense, I thought he had a particularly poor game in the semi at Fev the other week, but generally he's been on an upward curve, but........

The golden balls that he is lately, I would have expected him to get the GF, but it's been a bit of SKY tv overkill with him & Junior Childs this year, some of the other fella's must wonder what they have to do to get on & upwards.

Congrats on his ref of the year award BTW.
