A very good read!

I thought that was a really super read , it is just what being a fan of the club is about it`s in your blood. I know his dad Jim well as he played at Greetland with my hubby and I noticed he never mentioned Maurice Bamford.

good read and good also to see a mention for the green final, used to get mine from the seller on the bank steps at bottom of george square.

Can't believe you left out john bentley and as i said to you no all time halifax team would be complete in my view without geoff robinson and joe kilroy - two absolute legends in my opinion. just wish i had some old videos of them playing for us.

Also think i'd put freddy in my all time team - but very hard to eventually chose a final 13 from so many candidates.

Also being a few !! years younger than you i never saw the likes of johnny freeman etc play so can't really comment on his/their merits against those of bentley and tuilagi

I can imagine it took you more than a few hours to pick your final 13 tho
